Based in Byker, Newcastle, St Martin’s Centre is a welcoming community hub for people of all ages. This year, we are proud to celebrate 20 years of supporting our community, providing opportunities for people to connect, learn and thrive.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to belong to their community. Our centre is a safe, welcoming space where people can build friendships, enjoy new experiences and access the support they need.

We offer a wide range of activities, events, groups and services for children, families, older people and the wider community, helping people live happy, healthy and safe lives.

At the heart of the centre is The Avenue Coffee Shop – a friendly place to enjoy a coffee, meet friends or simply take some time out.

We are also proud to provide an Ofsted Outstanding Nursery, giving children the best possible start in life through high-quality early years education in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

Alongside our regular activities, we deliver projects that make a real difference, including initiatives such as Good Neighbours Newcastle, helping to reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing and support people to remain independent.
